Caldwell AgVenture Trail

Local non-profit, Destination Caldwell wants to attract more visitors and business to Caldwell and they have done so by opening up a new trail through the Snake River Valley called The AgVenture Trail.
The new 40-mile loop trail is free and self-guided, which takes you through 12 farms, orchards, pastures and produce stands from Downtown Caldwell, all across the valley. Along the way, visitors can take classes from local farmers, pick produce, stop at 6 farmers' markets, eat some farm-to-fork meals and even go horseback riding. There is so much to do that you can make it a one-day trip or spend the whole weekend there!
This new adventurous experience is really unique to our Boise area as it allows visitors to see, taste and experience food right from the source of where it comes from and really will allow them to appreciate and feel connected to the local farms and land they live on.
It is a way to escape the city and really get your feet wet in the simple-life and meeting loc ...

Why Fall is a Great Time to Buy

Did you know that the 4 seasons we see in a year also affect the real estate world? Depending on when you are in the market to buy or sell, the season can affect whether it’s a buyers market or sellers market. In the autumn, it typically tends to lean toward being a buyers market and for sellers, this can make a huge difference.
Typically in the autumn, the housing market tends to slow down due to a handful of reasons. This creates a great opportunity for buyers because they can find themselves finding homes for many times, at a lower price and will have less competition negotiating against them.
For potential buyers, the fall season comes with many distractions. It’s the start of the new school year, sports have started up again, events all around the city are booming and in general, many people want to stay inside and take in family time while they can. This reduction in competition means that for serious buyers, now is a great time to join the hunt for a house. Having ...

2. Capital City Public Market - many cities have seasonal farmer's markets, but not here in Boise! Our Public Market is open through fall and December. Lined up on the streets of downtown near the Capitol, every Saturday from 9:30 am- 1:30 pm, you’ll find local produ ...

Improve Your Motivation

In today’s technology-driven, social media, fast-paced world, it is sometimes easy to get lost on your path and let distractions get the best of you. Sometimes, it can be so overwhelming enough that your motivation goes out the window and you seem to get nothing done and feel a little down on yourself.

We understand that life throws curves and getting to where you want isn’t always a smooth ride, but there are ways to stay motivated even when it may seem impossible. Here are some good improvement motivation tips to keep you engaged in your work, your life and your happiness.

Self Evaluation - the first step you should take when you feel unmotivated is to figure out why you feel unmotivated. Analyzing the situation you are in and figuring out a solution to work towards can help get you out of the current state of funk you are in.

Show Gratitude - when you feel unmotivated, write down a list of things you are grateful for. While it may feel silly whi ...

Home Solar Panels

Have you been curious about the benefits of installing solar panels into your home? We’re here to dive into the facts about what installing solar panels can do for you, your family, your wallet and the environment!
Solar panels are a way to lower and offset energy costs in your home, provide clean energy and to reduce your home’s carbon footprint on the world - all while supporting local businesses and contributing to an environmental impact.
The biggest benefit to installing solar panels are, of course, reducing and saving money on your monthly energy bills. In fact, in a fine-weather place like Boise, you are actually likely to produce more energy and power for your house than you actually consume (especially in our summer months). Even when the weather is cloudy, the solar panels can still draw in energy from indirect or diffused sunlight and still will be able to power your home.
Not only will you be saving money on your monthly bills but you will also be able ...
