We have seen a rise in inventory over the past year and with that, comes more options for buyers. When there are more houses to choose from, it is crucial for your home to be able to stand out from the crowd in order for it to be sold fast and at your desired price. One key factor that goes into a quicker home sale is home staging. While your house may be in immaculate shape and your decorating is to your liking, that does not mean it is staged for a home sale. Many confuse decorating with staging, and we are here to inform you of the differences.
Staging your home needs to be looked at as marketing your home. This means that you will need to emotionally detach yourself from the home and let go of your decorating style and your prized collection pieces. You need to be able to give potential buyers a fresh outlook on your home in order for them to be able to picture it being their own. That means putting away the collectibles (even though you spent a lot of time and effort on them) or ...

This year has been flying by - we cannot believe it is already the month of July! It really puts the saying “if not now, when?” into perspective. We don’t know where the time has gone and all of those things we said we were going to do as part of our New Year Resolutions sometimes are quickly forgotten. We want this to be your mid-year reminder to take time for yourself and start getting yourself in the routine of these healthy habits. Life is about feeling good and being happy, so let’s all encourage each other in making these lifestyle changes!
1. Eat a healthy breakfast. We know. Life is busy and there is not always time to sit down and feed yourself a good breakfast, especially if there are others depending on you. However, making a little more effort at the grocery store to make yourself feel good won’t take up more of your time than picking up the same old things. Find something that you like that is high in fiber and protein in order to keep you fu ...

Attention to those of you who have been thinking about selling your home - NOW is the time to do so here in Boise! We have seen persistent stats of low inventory which is driving median home prices UP because demand is HIGH.
The existing home median sales price reached an all new high of $329,000 which is up 14.7% from May 2018. Since there has been a lack of inventory, home sale prices have been driven up, even including homes in the higher-priced market. In Ada County, the median sales price for both existing and new homes combined reached its new record of $342,990 in May 2019 which is a 12.5% increase over the same month of last year.
Since there are fewer existing homes on the market, home sales above $300,000 rose to a share of 61.3% of all existing homes sales and lower price point homes sold at a higher median sales price.
Buyers are looking to find their dream home in Boise and your home can be it! If you are looking for a quick sale, now is the time to get talking wi ...
